Vida Villages is defining rurban living

Rurban (rural+urban) refers to a geographic territory which possesses the economic characteristics and lifestyles of an urban area while retaining its essential rural area features.

A Vida Village delivers a cross-generational shared living environment that combines homes, guest accommodation and a multitude of shared spaces and facilities; enabling residents to be a part of a vibrant community.

Sustainability

All our communities aim to be truly sustainable in terms of environmental and social stewardship; showcasing some of the most promising innovations in sustainable design and regenerative management.

We aim to be certified under BREEAM and WELL Building standards – implemented not only through design and construction, but also in terms of maintenance and management.

Affordability

There is a massive shift in attitude from all age groups and income profiles drawn to the flexibility, affordability and convenience of renting and perhaps deterred by the prohibitive costs, permanency, debt risk and stress of home ownership.

By adopting a subscription living model, our residents will pay a monthly fee for the essentials – including rent, utilities, maintenance and the use of shared facilities; then choose from optional add-ons that will unlock better deals on other needs such as food boxes, media services, insurance, transportation and recreation.

Alcacer Vines
Alcácer do Sal, Portugal
We are proud to introduce Alcacer Vines - the first rurban build-to-rent resort operating under the Vida Villages brand.

This stunning sustainable community is based on wine production and located near the medieval river town of Alcácer do Sal in Portugal, just 45 minutes south of Lisbon and 30 km from the Atlantic beaches of Comporta.

The project is anchored around a Clubhouse that features a Bar-Bistro, Library Lounge, Co Work Space, Restaurant, Indoor Pool & Spa connected to a stunning Infinity Pool overlooking Terraced Gardens. There is also a Winery Building with a Cellar, Wine Shop & Delicatessen.

The 35 hectare property has full planning permission to develop touristic and residential units with 2 additional hectares for vines and private gardens that will surround each of the 194 units.
